Capital Campaign/Debt Reduction Program

You may have already received your 2010 Census form in the mail. Just as we all have been reminded of the importance of filling out and returning the Census form so our community can receive its fair share of funding for capital improvements, education, etc., our parish also needs to hear back from each and everyone of our registered parishioners regarding this capital campaign to build our new church. Materials concerning the Francis Francis Rebuild My Church Capital Campaign were mailed to you last September. As noted in these materials, the current church was built in 1966 to accommodate 400+ families -we now have over 2,200 registered families. We simply need more space.

We have received approximately $3.3 million in pledges, but we still have a long way to go to reach our minimum goal of $4.5 million. We need to hear from you and every other of our parishioners who have yet to respond and return their· pledge cards. We can easily meet our goal if every family simply pledged $30 a month over the next three years!

Many parishioners may be able to contribute more than the $30 a month for three years, and other may not be able to make any financial commitment at all at this time due to the current economic conditions. We ask that your please prayerfully consider making a financial pledge now and being part of this important capital campaign. We have always stressed that it is not about equal giving, but rather equal sacrifice.
