5/13/20: Limited In-Person Masses Begin This Weekend May 16/17

We are excited to begin celebrating Mass as a Parish, with a limited number of parishioners in attendance. Before signing up for a Mass, please read the RETURN TO MASS GUIDELINES HERE

To sign up for an ENGLISH MASS CLICK HERE. Remember to sign up/reserve a seat for all the members of your family who will be attending, and limit yourselves to one Mass every three weeks so everyone in the Parish who wants to has an opportunity to attend a Mass.

MISA DOMINICAL EN ESPAÑOL REGRESA A LA IGLESIA DE SAN FRANCISCO DE ASÍS A LAS 12 MEDIODÍA - SOLO POR REGISTRARSE

 

Estamos emocionados de comenzar a celebrar la Misa como parroquia, con un número limitado de feligreses presentes: (10 en la iglesia, 10 en el vestíbulo, 10 en la capilla)

 

Revise las regulaciones a continuación antes de registrarse:

  • Debe usar máscaras faciales, excepto para niños menores de 2 años.

  • Mantenga distanciamiento social de 6 pies entre su familia y los demás.

  • Lávese las manos en casa y use desinfectante al entrar a la iglesia.

  • Estarás sentado. Por favor, quédese en su asiento y mantenga a los niños con usted en todo momento.

  • No procesión del ofertorio: las canastas para su ofrenda estarán en la entrada y frente de la iglesia. Por favor ponga su ofrenda en una a su llegada.

  • No hay señales de paz ni de manos.

  • La Sagrada Comunión debe ser recibida en la mano.

5/7/20: There will be no public Masses this weekend. 

We are awaiting guidelines from the Diocese of Colorado Springs on how to resume public Masses in a limited and safe way. Thank you for your patience. 

4/27/20: ARCHDIOCESE OF DENVER EXTENDS SUSPENSION OF PUBLIC MASSES THROUGH MAY 8TH

In accordance with the Archdiocese of Denver, our parish public Mass are suspended through May 8th.

4/14/20: SUSPENSION OF PUBLIC MASSES EXTENDED THROUGH APRIL 30TH 

In Colorado, a statewide stay-at-home order is in effect through Sunday, April 26, and similar city orders are in effect through April 30. All previous guidance and protocols for parishes, including no public Masses, will remain in effect until April 30 as well. When Mass is unavailable, the Catholic faithful are dispensed from their Sunday obligation. Online Masses will continue to be offered by both the Archdiocese and local parishes

3/26/20:  UPDATES RELATIVE TO THE MOST RECENT EXECUTIVE ORDER REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

  1. The church building will remain open during the day from 8am - 7pm so that the faithful may spend time in prayer and adoration. However, there should be no more than 10 people in the church at any one time. Each person should be at least 6 feet removed from others.

  2. During this time of the “Stay at Home” order by Governor Polis our offices will be closed to walk in visits. Please call the office or email a priest, deacon or staff member if you need something. You can also drop items off in our white locked mailbox next to the office door. Thanks!

  3. Confessions are by appointment or at our scheduled times, but no more than 10 people in the church at any one time. The priest and penitent should sit at least 6 ft. apart.

3/25/20:  The Tri-County Health Department has issued a Stay-At-Home Public Health Order  effective March 26 at 8:00 a.m. until April 17 at 11:59 p.m for Douglas, Adams and Araphahoe Counties. The Church is considered an Essential Business so we will remain open as described in the last update on 3/20/20. However; we are allowed no more than 10 persons at a time and must maintain the Social

Distancing requirements set forth in paragraph 5 (j) in the Public Health Order. Douglas County Link 

3/20/20: In compliance with federal and state guidelines prohibiting gatherings of more than 10 people due to the coronavirus pandemic, Holy Week and Easter liturgies will not be celebrated publicly this year. Holy Week and Easter Masses will be recorded and be available for viewing on the diocesan website, www.diocs.org.

 

Building hours are 8am – 7pm.

 

  •  We are using Facebook Live to stream Mass on Sundays at 9:30 am in English and 1:30 pm in Spanish. You can also watch them afterwards on our Facebook page, Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

 

  • Stations of the Cross can be prayed individually anytime on Fridays or when the church is open.

 

  • Confessions are as scheduled Fridays from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm and Saturdays from 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm or by appointment with a priest.

 

  • Adoration is available Monday - Friday from 9 am – 5 pm.

 

 

Because of the restrictions that are now in place, there can be no public services for Divine Mercy Sunday. I would encourage each of our parishioners to privately recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet in their homes.
