Congrats & Changes

May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you!

First of all I want to convey, on behalf of the parish, congratulations to the following parishioners who are the 2020 Catholic Biblical School Graduates! They are:

Janelle Chavez

Paula Magner

Karen Parry

Michael Parry

and Ron Polomsky

I am so proud of you all for completing this four year – intensive – Catholic Biblical School! Saint Jerome said that ignorance of the Bible is ignorance of Christ. Thanks for your love of Sacred Scripture and for you love of Jesus Christ!

Second, as we begin limited in person Masses, I ask you to read the insert that we have added to this week’s bulletin on this important subject. We have also posted this on our website, Facebook and Social Media.

Third, just a liturgical reminder that the Solemnity of the Ascension has been permanently transferred to and takes the place of the Seventh Sunday in Easter.

Finally, We have had two other staff changes that I would like you to know about:

Sylvia Werner who is the Director of our Mid School Faith Formation Program is on a leave of absence for the Summer. She is going to take care of a family member who has medical issues. We wish her and her family member well. Brian Donelson who is the Director of our Elementary Religious Education program and our Director of Marriage and Family Life has been placed on Furlough. I want to thank Brian for his hard work, dedication and commitment to passing along the faith.

I have asked Tod Masters to oversee the entire Faith Formation Program for the Summer which he has agreed to do. If you have any questions about any of our Formation Programs you can call or email him – or you can also call or email Beth Kraner who is our Administrative Assistant for Faith Formation. They are both here to help you in any way.

Please know that you and your family are in our daily prayers and thoughts!
