Do you see God in You?

The Transfiguration of Jesus we hear about in this Sunday’s Gospel, is an invitation to all of us this Holy Lent. The disciples were afraid and confused when they saw who Jesus really was — GOD! But there was no reason to be afraid. Jesus gave his disciples a glimpse of who they were! It was stunning and challenging!

Do you really see God in you? Do you know how much God loves you that He joins you in Jesus, His Son? There is nothing to fear!

Please join us this Saturday, March 11 to get a better glimpse of Jesus in you! Father Gary Kastl, Rector of Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will be directing our retreat day called “Be Not Afraid.” He will speak on four different topics:

  1. God is love - God desires to be intimately involved in the lives of each of us, His sons and daughters.

  2. God calls and equips us - If Jesus wants us to follow Him, He will give us everything we need.

  3. Be a good steward - this is how we respond to the call of Jesus and use what He has given us.

  4. Build up the Church - Our response to Jesus is not only for our own benefit but for the whole world.

Retreat days are intentional times to stop the busyness of life and to be quiet and go deeper in our relationship with Jesus. The retreat will begin with Mass at 8:00 AM. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The retreat will conclude at 4:00 PM. Join us this Saturday, March 11 and allow your heart to be captured by the love of Jesus this Lent - and beyond! Please RSVP to the parish office right now 303-688-3025.
