"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”
– Matthew 19:6
“The love of husband and wife is the force that welds society together.”
– St. John Chrysostom
The Sacrament of Marriage is the true joining of man and woman as one into the Body of Christ and His community. Engaged couples are more than welcome to celebrate this special day at St. Francis of Assisi Parish and are encouraged to seal this sacrament during the Holy Eucharist which prefigures the Wedding Feast in the eternal Kingdom.
Newly engaged couples as well as couples seeking a convalidation of their civil ceremony should contact the Parish office to schedule an appointment with the priest to begin preparation for the Sacrament of Marriage. Marriage Preparation should begin twelve months before the marriage date.

For weddings or convalidations, contact Alma Oliva, Marriage Preparation Assistant,
at 720-215-4548 or aoliva@stfranciscr.org.
For information on annulments,
contact Fr. Mark Zacker at 720-215-4554 or mzacker@stfranciscr.org.
