FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

"I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever, and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world."

– John 6:51

"There is nothing so great as the Eucharist. If God had something more precious, He would have given it to us."

– St. John Vianney

The Mass is the “source and summit” of our faith, worship, and Christian community. St. Francis of Assisi Parish and all of its members who have received the Sacrament of the Eucharist are invited to joining us in receiving the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is actually present both in Scripture and through the Eucharist during our celebration and remembrance of Him.

First Holy Communion Catechesis

Celebrating the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time should be an integral part of the ongoing religious experience of a child. Receiving First Holy Communion further initiates a person into the life of the Christian community.
