Saint Pope John Paul II Monstrance coming to our parish

ree

We are very blessed to have the Saint Pope John Paul II Monstrance coming to our parish on Wednesday, November 19 from 12 noon to 6:00 pm.

The Saint Pope John Paul II Monstrance is a monstrance blessed by the late Pope to promote prayer for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Six such monstrances were created for the Year of the Eucharist in 2004, and one was given to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops for North America. It is entrusted to the care of the Serra Club and travels to various parishes and dioceses to facilitate prayer and Eucharistic adoration for vocations. The primary purpose is to encourage prayer for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life.

We encourage you to visit on Wednesday, November 19 from 12 noon to 6:00 pm for quiet prayer and adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and pray for more priests, deacons, and consecrated religious to rise from our families and to serve the church here in our diocese and around the world.
