Happy Father' s Day!

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all of our Dads!

We wouldn’t be here, if it weren’t for good old Dad (and Mom). Both my Dad and Mom went to heaven many years ago (27 years for Mom, 14 for Dad). I became a “Father” 26 years ago this week (June 15). Please pray for all of our Dads and all of our Priests, our spiritual fathers!

Sadly, I regret to inform you that Fr Homero has left us sooner than expected. His Bishop called him back to Peru. Please pray for Fr. Homero. We are grateful for his service to us here and pray that the Lord will give him peace. Cards and notes for Father Homero may be sent to the parish office.

Today’s Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, marks the beginning of a three-year Eucharistic Revival in the United States. The first year is dedicated to a broad focus of renewal on the diocesan level. Then, on June 11, 2023, renewal efforts focus more on the parishes. That year culminates in a nation-wide Eucharistic Congress in July 2024 that marks the beginning of an intensive outward missionary effort to engage the world with deeper faith and love in the Eucharist.

Bishop Golka and the Diocese of Colorado Springs have great hopes for the Lord’s graces in this national effort. We are getting ready to begin the Diocesan Year of Eucharistic Revival. There will be ongoing conversations and discernment among the priests with our

Bishop about where the Lord is calling us. By the end of the summer, we will have developed resources specific to our Diocese

available to help us through this year and prepare for the Parish Year of Eucharistic Revival in 2023.

Please consider making a personal commitment to pray for our Diocese during this Year of Eucharistic Revival. You know that our

Adoration Chapel is open weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm. And our Church is open the same hours, everyday!

Prayer for the Eucharistic Revival

My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You!

I beg pardon for those who do not believe, nor adore, nor hope, nor love You.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly.

I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ,

present in all the tabernacles of the world

in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended.

And, through the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

I beg of You the conversion of sinners. Amen.

Spring

Spring weather can be unpredictable.  Remember last weekend!  Daffodils and crocuses begin to emerge during days of temperatures in the 60s and 70s, only to be startled by a plunge into the 30s or 40s

Peace Be With You

Do you really realize how the sacrifice of Jesus impacts your life?  By His passion, death, and resurrection he has changed the world - set you free from sin and death — and called you to live forever
